When someone pictures a geranium, they're usually picturing something like Maverick Red: a sturdy, well-branched zonal topped with big, rounded heads of true bright red. It's a seed geranium, which makes it a great value, and it flowers reliably from late spring to frost with very little fuss. It's a workhorse for porch pots, window boxes, and front-of-bed color, holding up to full Flathead sun and heat. Steady water and a quick deadhead now and then are all it asks.
