Our specialty
Geraniums and fuchsias are what we do best
Geraniums and fuchsias have been our specialty for twenty years, and we grow more varieties than you'll find most places in the valley. Come see them in bloom and we'll help you choose the ones that suit your spot.
If there's one thing Wild Geese Gardens is known for, it's geraniums and fuchsias. We've grown them for twenty years, we grow more varieties than you'll find most places in the Flathead, and — we'll admit it — they're our favorites. There's a reason the greenhouse smells the way it does on a warm spring morning.
Geraniums
Browse all geraniums →From the classic zonals that bloom all summer to the trailing ivy types that spill out of a window box, geraniums are about as rewarding as a plant gets here: they love our long summer days, shrug off a dry spell, and keep going until frost. We carry a wide range of colors and forms, including the big, weather-tough interspecific varieties that hold up to Flathead sun and wind.
From the greenhouse
Want to keep yours year after year? Geraniums overwinter beautifully indoors — we wrote up how to do it, and we're always happy to walk you through it in person.

Fuchsias
Browse all fuchsias →Fuchsias are the showstoppers — those dangling, two-tone blooms that hummingbirds can't leave alone. They do best with a little shade from the hottest afternoon sun and steady water, which makes them perfect for a covered porch or a north-facing entry. We grow them as hanging baskets and starts, in singles and doubles, in every color from soft pink to deep purple-and-red.
If you've had trouble keeping fuchsias happy through a Montana summer, come talk to us — usually it's a sun-and-water thing we can sort out in five minutes. See also our custom hanging baskets.
