PowWow Wild Berry is a standout coneflower for our climate — compact and well-branched, with rich rose-purple petals around a dark central cone that hold their color without fading. It blooms from midsummer well into fall, longer than many coneflowers, and it's reliably hardy through a Flathead winter. Bees and butterflies work the flowers all season, and if you leave the spent cones standing, finches will pick the seeds through fall and winter. Full sun, average to dry soil, and good drainage are all it needs to come back bigger each year.
